Abstract

Research objective – consumer behavior.
Research aim – to evaluate how integrated marketing communication affects consumer behaviour.
Research methods – the study is based on the scientific methods of analysis of Lithuanian and foreign literature; quantitative and qualitative part of the study was carried out by analyzing the results of the questionnaire.
Research logic: the theoretical part of the study describes the concept of integrated marketing communication, its processes and elements based on Lithuanian and foreign sources. It also reviews the development of an integrated marketing communication plan and examines the impact of integrated marketing communication on consumer behavior. The analytical part of the study presents qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis as well as the general information of the organization chosen specifically for the present research. The quantitative results of the questionnaire are also presented in this part of the study. The following are the results, summaries, conclusions and recommendations of the qualitative and quantitative research.
Research conclusions – the results of the study show that integrated marketing communications is a rapidly evolving and changing process that organizations that want to communicate effectively with their users need to adapt to. Consumers are reached faster by adapting and integrating marketing elements into new communication channels such as social networks. The use of modern means of communication, such as opinion formers and/or ambassadors, increases the likelihood of leaving a more effective impact on consumers. People not only trust what is communicated by word of mouth around them, but they also trust other people or celebrities that speak on social media. It is also easier to attract the consumers and interact with them through visual means of communication.
