Each student accepted for the study period, internship or research visit at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) uses internal university systems for learning and information search with an individual student ID.
Each VMU student has the same login credentials for entering and using all internal university‘s platforms as Student Self-Service Portal, Moodle2, Outlook Mailbox, connecting to university’s WiFi, using VMU Library, as well as printing, copying or scanning in the university:

Moodle2 at VMU is used to contain all additional teaching material for studies. Moodle2 system allows direct submissions of assignments, discussion forums and even direct messaging.
Each study course has separate box, which is coordinated by its lecturer: he/she will inform you if there is an additional registration which requires a code to his/her subject. Please, do not hesitate to ask the lecturer if you face any difficulties using Moodle2.

WiFi is essential in the modern world in many aspects of daily life. For this purpose we make it accessible in all buildings of the university. The name of WiFi is Eduroam and its very easy to use.

All VMU students get important notifications from the university and the faculty in the student Outlook Mailbox. 50 GB size mailbox will allow you freely communicate with faculty, lecturers, classmates and friends.

Student Identity (ID) Card is the document proving official student status. Student ID cards also give certain privileges: students can use public transport half cheaper and there are various other discounts all over the country.
Two types of student ID cards are valid in Lithuania:

Card prices: 6 EUR for exchange students, 8-20 EUR for graduate-undergraduate degree students.

Note! public transport discount is valid with ISIC only for EU citizens and for non-EU citizens holding Lithuanian Temporary Residence Permit. It is NOT valid for those holding a National visa.

VMU students can use self-service printing/copying scanning machines in VMU buildings:
Documents for printing from the university e-mail account can be sent to print@vdu.lt and printed by any machine at a convenient time. The bill for the services is paid by sms.

A4 copy in black/white – 0,04 Eur
A4 copy in colour – 0,29 Eur
A4 scan – 0,02 Euro
