Short term courses and summer / winter schools are the exclusive possibility for VMU students to visit other country, get to know its culture, gain various skills, learn or improve the foreign language and receive the certificate with the awarded credits.
Vytautas Magnus University has established additional mobility scholarships for VMU students who are interested in short term courses and summer / winter schools abroad.

VMU Mobility Scholarship Competition is open year-round.
The number of available scholarships is limited. The funding limit for the courses organised in 2024 has been reached. Therefore, the competition is suspended, and the new competition will be open after new funding is received (in December-January).
All VMU full-time degree students are welcome to participate in the competition. An exception applies for the last semester students and BA first semester students. The participants must prove a great academic performance without academic debts and academic hold.

After the final list of selected students is announced, candidates are contacted by the VMU International Cooperation Department (ICD) coordinator. The coordinator provides all mobility-related information and necessary documentation before, during and after the mobility period.
