Abstract

Astrida Miceikienė is the Chancellor of the Agriculture Academy at Vytautas Magnus University. She is a professor at the Faculty of Bioeconomy Development and chief researcher at the Bioeconomy Research Institute. She is a Representative of Lithuania in the EU CAP Network, a Foreign Member of the Latvian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, the International Expert Council of the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technology, a member of the international students’ competition ‘The Biobased Innovation Student Challenge Europe”, Astrida Miceikienė is an accredited consultant for the accounting of economic activities at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania and an expert on taxes at the same Ministry. A. Miceikiene is an author or co-author of more than 120 research articles. She is an expert on two FP7 programs, an expert on two H2020 projects, a leader of one of them, three an expert on the Horizon Europe project, an expert on two projects on the development of cooperation in foreign countries, an implementer of 18 national and outsourced research projects, working as implementer at 9 of them, and 8 - as an expert. The researcher has presented at over 120 international scientific conferences abroad and in Lithuania. She is a member of 8 editorial boards of scientific journals, chairman of 14 conference organizing committees, and member of 18 organizing and scientific committees.
