Abstract

<p>14. Stigmella desperatella (Frey, 1856) (new to the Crimea). (Figs 30, 74). Host-plants. Malus domestica Borkh. in the Crimea; in other regions also Prunus spinosa L. and Pyrus communis L. Distribution. Euro-Submediterranean; the species occurs from Great Britain and Italy to northwestern and central European Russia and the western Caucasus. Material examined. CRIMEA: 2♂, 2♀, 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, larva on Malus domestica Borkh., fieldwork card no. 5018, 13 –17.vii.2011, leg. A. Diškus & A.
