Socialinio darbo katedroje vykdomos socialinio darbo krypties bakalauro ,,Socialinis darbas ir psichosocialinis konsultavimas“ ir magistrantūros ,,Socialinis darbas“ studijų programos. Katedroje vykdomi tyrimai nukreipti į socialinės politikos analizę ir socialinio darbo intervencijų plėtrą, vaikų ir šeimos gerovės politikos analizę ir atitinkamų socialinio darbo intervencijų plėtrą, žmonių su negalia teisių įgyvendinimą, vyresnio amžiaus žmonių psichosocialinio funkcionavimo, darbo su jaunimu ir bendruomenių plėtros analizę.

The Department of Social Work offers bachelor's degree programme in the field of social work, "Social Work and Psychosocial Counselling", and master's degree programmes in the field of social work, "Social Work". Research conducted in the Department of Social Work focuses on the analysis of social policy and the development of social work interventions to empower people and promote their participation and social inclusion. The research focuses on the analysis of child and family welfare policies and the development of relevant social work interventions, the implementation of the rights of people with disabilities, the psychosocial functioning of older people, the analysis of youth work and community development.
