Abstract: The invention refers to the branch of mechanics and alternative power, particularly to solar power for air heating, e.g., used for desiccation of agricultural production and heating of rooms or floors. The aim, set for the offered invention, is an increase of heat output of the device by perfecting general technical and thermal parameters of the device. In order to achieve the aim set for, a solar energy absorbing tube (2) is placed in the focus of the parabolic cylindrical solar energy concentrator (1). The tube is manufactured from thin-walled cylindrical aluminium elements (6) arranged in consecutive order and is provided with truncated cones (7) at the ends. Said cones create the air flow turbulence in the absorber and improve heat removal from the internal walls of the tube. The truncated cones (7) also serve as the ribs and considerably improve the mechanical strength of tube (2)
