The soil topsoil layer consists of: humus – 3.7 proc.; pH – 72; P2O5 – 180mg/kg-1; K2O – 185 mg/kg1. Researched varieties were „Glory“, Wilge“, Eduardo“, „P8000“ . During this study were calculated plant and corncob medium weight, quantity of corncobs, weight of 1000 grains, crop‘s yield mass. Short vegetation (FAO 160-180) varieties „Glory“ and „Wilge“ had the lowest plant and corncob weight, but breed „Glory“ had the highest mass of 1000 grains. The highest production of crop's yield mass was observed in varieties „Eduardo“ (65.68 t ha-1) and „P8000“ (63.04 t ha-1).
