Field experiment on susceptibility of spring barley cultivars to fungal foliar diseases was carried out at 2016 in LRCAF Institute of Agriculture. Seventeen spring barley cultivars relevant in Lithuanian market were tested. The aim of experiment was to evaluate susceptibility of different cultivars of spring barley to fungal foliar diseases. Powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei) and net blotch (Pyrenophora teres) occurred during 2016 grow season. Cvs. 'Noja DS', 'Waldemar', 'Luokė' were most affected by powdery mildew at stem elonging stage, cvs. 'Tipple', 'Quench', 'Noja DS' - by net blotch. Spring barley cvs. 'Edvin', 'Iron' and 'Grace' were most sensitive to powdery mildew at early-medium milk stages, cv. ‚Alisa DS‘ – to net blotch. Most resistant cultivars to powdery mildew were 'Tipple', 'Rusnė' and 'Quench'.
