Abstract: The present article analyzes the change of climatic conditions in the Central Lithuania. Meteorological conditions in 1969–2009 were studied while analysing changes in seasonal distribution of the average air temperature and precipitation amount in Central Lithuania during the period of four decades, meanwhile complete studied period was divided each ten years. The activity of drainage during various seasons and the impact of meteorological conditions on drainage runoff in different seasons (winter, spring, summer and autumn) are reviewed
