Abstract: The aim of the research is to establish the optimal conditions of neopentyl glycol oleate process by the biochemical method. The effectiveness of lipase Novozym 435 as biocatalyst has been evaluated in the process of esterification of oleic acid and neopentyl glycol. The optimal conditions of process of esterification of neopentyl glycol have been determined. The process shall be executed at 70 °C temperature, the optimal molar ratio between neopentyl glycol and oleic acid in the reaction media should be 1:1, and the concentration of enzyme is 7 % of the mixture mass. The process of esterification shall be executed in 2 stages for 7 hours each
