Abstract
The research was carried out in 2007-2009 in the Baltic lowlands area the Middle Lithuanian Lowland Middle Nemunas and in the Neris downstream plateau region at organic farm of Lithuanian University of Agriculture. There is applied organic farming system since 1997 and training farm has always been holding intensive farming. Winter wheat was fertilized with mineral NPK fertilizers as well as sprayed with herbicides under intensive farming system. It was found that in organically grown winter wheat found in 26 to 35, and in intensive farming system -17-26 segetal plant species, Most of the segetal plants, found in winter wheat crop were short living and wintering species, which in organic wheat accounted for 55.1 percent and 64.4 percent in intensive farming wheat. Meanwhile, bigger number of perennial plant species, spread by seeds; by seeds - vegetavive; by vegetative reproduction, found in organically grown winter wheat. Perrenial segetal plants in organic wheat accounted for 41.0 percent and 30.5 percent in intensive farming wheat of all plant species. Significant decrease in segetal plants number and weight in intensive winter wheat comparing with organic was observed applying herbicides. A mass of one segetal plant excess of one gram in organic winter wheat and in intensive - of less than one gram.
