Abstract: The applicability of analytical models for vibration of variable cross-section two layered cylindrical structural elements is investigated; the natural frequencies of longitudinal and lateral vibrations and calculated. The natural frequency O>Q dependence on the structural element material properties (p, E) and geometric parameters (/, R, r, S) provide means for optimization of vibration amplitude characteristics
