Abstract
The paper presents an investigation the properties of the Co, W, P coats produced by electrochemical deposition. Such thin coats were applied on the steel surface seeking to improve the structural properties of surface, increase the resistance to the corrosion, thermodynamic factors and mechanical loads. The change of coats' microstructure, friction torque, roughness, hardness and microhardness were investigated during tribological tests and after them. The properties of Co-W, W-Fe and Co-W-P coats were compared. The results show the advantages of Co-W and W-Fe coats. The W-P coat is harder but fragile.
