The aim of this study was to evaluate possibility of usage of fatty waste for biodiesel fuel production, to determine influence of biofuel on environment applying analysis of biological degradation, Life Cycle and engine emissions. Pure methyl esters produced from beef tallow, pork lard, rapeseed oil and linseed oil as well as three component mixtures of above mentioned methyl esters were used for experiments. It was found that environmental properties of three component mixtures of methyl esters are better if compared with pure rapeseed oil methyl esters. Concentration of harmful components including PAH in exhausi gases when engine was fuelled with three component mixtures of methyl esters was eąual or lower. Biological degradation of esters mixtures was faster, Life cycle parameter of energy effectiveness R1 was higher if compared with pure rapeseed oil methyl esters.
