Abstract (en)
A Gompertz stochastic logistic growth model is used for the fitting of diameter distribution. The aim of this paper is to develop a probability density function for the diameter distribution depending on tree age and height. Estimation of parameters of the diameter probability density function is performed by the l! norm procedure. Actual data of pine stands in Dubrava district is used as an illustrative experience. The results are implemented in the symbolic computational language MAPLE.
