Abstract (en)
Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) has been successfully grown in Europe as an oilseed crop for over 300 years. Rapeseed is grown in many countries for its valuable oil and protein, and ranks fifth among the leading oil-producing seed crops in the world with total production at more than eight million metric tons annually. Cultivars of oilseed rape (B.napus ) are difficult to distinguish on the basis of their morphology [1]. Oilseed rape (B.napus) is an important arable crop and in recent years molecular markers have yielded information on the genome structure and cultivar identification [2]. Identification of plant cultivars has become increasingly important to demonstrate distinctness, uniformity and stability for each new cultivar. [...]
