Abstract (en)
A computer aided system is created to aid development of new medical diagnostics of sleep. A toolbox of data mining methods including standard and advanced methods (multidimensional scaling, cross-spectrum analysis method, and optimisation based classification) is made available to the users. Preliminary testing shows that knowledge extracted from heart rate data can be efficiently used for classification of sleep stages.
