Purpose – While countries expand, economy grows, different products are created using lesser both material and time inputs; more damage is being done to nature and population. The most important question is how it is possible to match expanding and developing industry with clean environment, keeping as possible more depleting resources and not doing negative impact not only on nature, but also people. Design/methodology/approach – Scientific references, statistical data analysis, synthesis, logical, comparative analysis, structural and causative analysis, forecast. Findings – The Lithuanian economic analysis according to the aspect of economy expansion, has revealed that in the country there has not been achieved the sustainable economy growth model. The Analysis showed that the Lithuanian situation is not bad; however, while developing its economy, the country forgot its population welfare and the sphere of environment. Research limitations/implications – In the Research there will be analysed only five indices from every field paying attention to every indice’s importance and influence on the country’s economy. Practical implications - There is dissociated from the sustainable development aspect analysis of other countries. Originality/value - The chosen theme about the sustainable development model is quite new and less researched and at this moment is the most spread according to the theoretical aspect. It is topical to evaluate the current Lithuanian situation, also if the country manages to combine all spheres and how much the country pays attention and efforts to that.
