Abstract: Neformalusis muzikinis ugdymas suteikia paaugliams galimybę užsiimti mėgstama veikla, prasmingai leisti laisvalaikį, surasti naujų draugų bei patenkinti saviraiškos poreikį, kas yra labai reikšminga jų amžiaus tarpsnio būdingai psichosocialinei krizei įveikti. Šiuolaikiniams paaugliams svarbu dalyvauti neformaliajame ugdyme, nes jis padeda asmenybės formavimuisi, ugdo charakterio bruožus, kompetencijas, vertybes, tačiau ne kiekvienas paauglys tai supranta ir nori dalyvauti šioje veikloje. Tokiu būdu sulėtina savęs tobulinimo ir realizavimo procesą. Todėl, aktualu analizuoti paauglių neformaliojo muzikinio ugdymo bruožus, aiškintis kaip organizuoti muzikinę veiklą, tenkinančią jų norus ir poreikius neformaliojo muzikinio ugdymo kontekste.
Non-formal music education provides adolescents with an opportunity to engage in their favorite activity, to meaningfully spend their free time, to find new friends and to satisfy their need for self-expression, which is particularly significant for coping with the psycho-social crisis characteristic of this developmental period. It is very important for contemporary adolescents to participate in non-formal education, because it contributes to formation of their personality, development of character features, competences and values. However, not every adolescent understands this and is eager to take part in non-formal education. Thus, the process of self-improvement and realisation of such adolescents is slowed down. For this reason, it is relevant to analyse the features of adolescents' non-formal music education, to clarify the ways how to organise music activities that satisfy their wishes and needs in the context of non-formal music education.
