Abstract: Landscape is a very important resource for the state, which includes urban and rural areas, forest, water and other areas. It provides people with living conditions and employment, and is an indicator of the quality of life and a national basis. Man has a huge influence on the natural landscape. The landscape elements or systems of elements created by people make the essence of anthropogenic landscape. Rural landscapes prevail in Lithuania since ancient times. This is evidenced by the many surviving old, historic villages, a large number of agricultural workers and 46% of the arable land occupied by the country. The Agrarian Landscape is a landscape created by the connection of natural and human processes, but retaining the essential components of the natural structure. It includes agricultural land and poorly built-up rural areas. The relevance of the theme of landscape change is currently high. The object of the work is the area of Lazdijai district municipality.
