Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are becoming an increasingly integral part of the everyday life of modern society and are making special demands not only on today’s learners but also on the teacher. The development for ICT competencies of modern music teachers involves a continuous process of learning and development. Teachers can improve their competencies through professional development opportunities such as seminars and conferences, online courses, and collaboration with other educators. Despite the potential benefits of ICT for music education, there is a lack of research on the competencies that music teachers need to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practice. Thus, the role of ICT in the educational process is controversial and the professional application of ICT is a demanding endeavour.These are essential factors in order to clarify the development of information and communication technology competencies of music teachers in the changing context of educational paradigms. Such a study would allow for the identification of effective ways to apply modern ICT, highlight the problems of music education, and improve the professional development of teachers. The dissertation will explore the challenges and opportunities that music teachers face in applaying ICT in your educational practice and the ways in which they can develop their ICT competencies to improve teaching and learning outcomes. It will also seek to identify effective strategies to improve music teachers’ ICT competencies development and equip them with the necessary resources and training to succeed in the new educational paradigm.

The development of renewable energy is increasingly blurring the line between the energy and agricultural sectors. Decarbonizing agriculture is essential for the devel opment of sustainable development principles. This can be achieved in essentially the two following ways: by reducing fuel consumption and by making the livestock sector more efficient. This review sets out options for contributing to these two elements. There view sets the stage for a smoother synergy process, whereby waste generated in agriculture is fully utilized to strengthen farms. In conducting the review, the methods of scientific induction and deduction were used. One of the key elements is the recycling of the waste generated into biomethane. This biomethane in turn is used as a fuel for tractors and as a means of providing energy for farms. The production of biomethane or biogas can lead to decentralization of the energy system, with farms becoming less or completely independent from external energy supplies. At the same time, synergies with other forms of energy are being created. These make it possible to increase the income of farms by adding a new activity of supplying energy to other consumers.

This paper present a result of tribological investigations of the electroplated nanocomposite coatings Ni-SiC and Ni-PTFE deposited on the steel surface. Roughness of the composite coatings was small (from 0.09 to 1.05 μm), and it was connected with content of dispersion particles in coating (from 0.28 to 5.55 % vol.). Also type of built-in particles influences on roughness of composite coatings. Such examinated layers were annealed at 523 K and all layers were subjected to the tribological tests which were carried out with the use of Amsler machine. The results of this experiments, i.e. wear resistance and coefficient of friction, show very positve effect of application nanostructural electroplated coatings for steel surface treatmen (Z_wp from 0.00055 g to 0.00425 g; μ from 0.02 to 0.08). This study has shown that the coefficient of friction is inversely proportional to the roughness of the composite coatings.

Account the principles of technological reglamentation of anisotropic states of metallic materials have been suggested with their controlled inductivity by outer fields in the form of selforganising and selfdeveloping systems to which fusions and different covers refer. The technological bases of the metals and alloys strengthening in magnetic fields have been reflected. Some results in the outer inductance effect on parameters and wearresistance of materials have been summarized.

The aim of this diploma paper it is to provide recommendations to the "YouTube" influencers in Georgia and Lithuania and to the brands that target those markets, based on the theoretical analysis, survey and qualitative analysis of the "YouTube" influencers. The paper consists of three main parts: theoretical, empirical and recommendations parts. The first part looks into the literature related to the influencer marketing, it‘s methods of use, the benefits that it can deliver to the brands and the effect of it towards the audience. The second part is devoted to the empirical research: a qualitative analysis of one macro influencer in the makeup industry, one Lithuanian influencer with the biggest number of followers in the country within the industry, and one Georgian influencer with the largest number of subscribers in the country within the industry. In the second chapter, there are also presented the comparisons of their work to each other and the conclusions. The third part focuses on highlighting the problematic aspects of the field of "YouTube" Influencer marketing in Georgia and in Lithuania and providing practical recommendations to the brands and the influencers.

This teaching aid has grown out from the course Introduction into English Linguistics which I have been teaching at Vytautas Magnus University for a number of years. Its aim is to present students with a concise and up-to-date discussion of some of the main topics that mod-ern linguistics addresses. The teaching guide is provided with exercises for each topic (graded from less difficult to advanced), and questions for discussion. All the exercises have been tested in class. The teaching guide also includes a glossary of the most important terms which students have to know and be able to use not only in this course but also in the other linguistic courses that they take in the programme of English Philology.

This text serves as an introduction to critical analysis of crime fiction in English. After a brief review of the pre-history of crime fiction in English, the principal focus is on sub-genres such as Golden Age detective stories, American noir thrillers, thrillers in general and police procedurals. For each sub-genre a list of characteristics is provided. Some major authors like Agatha Christie, Raymond Chandler, P.D. James, Ruth Rendell, Ian Rankin and Kathy Reichs are given closer attention. In addition, newer trends in crime fiction are discussed. Exercises for students and advice in carrying out research on crime fiction are also given.

The idea to write this book primarily came from our intention to share what we have discovered about one of the greatest childhood miracles – play. For a number of years we have explored this phenomenon, yet its profound and extraordinary nature still continues to surprise us. Promotes development and, at the same time, is the greatest achievement of the child. Keeping this in mind, we designed our monograph for a few purposes. First, we wanted to present the results of the three-year project “Development of Self-Regulation in Play” attained in play research laboratory of the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. Second, we sought for the first time to discuss in Lithuanian language the theory of play based on cultural – historical psychology. Our objective was to formulate and present the key principles of the development of self-regulation through play activities. Finally, we aimed to describe the steps of practical use of joint (adult-child) play activities that help a child to develop a self-regulatory behavior during play. Why did we choose to focus on the development of self-regulation through play activities? Simply that a large number of worldwide studies show (Elkind, 1982, 2007; Singer, Singer, D’Agostino, DeLong, 2008; Frost, 2010) that children’s imaginary play is vanishing and that their imagination and self-regulation skills have deteriorated. Another observed trend is a clear opposition between play and academic learning (Miller & Almon, 2009; Nicolopoulou, 2010).
