Vlasova, Svetlana

Abstract

Dr. Svetlana Vlasova started working at Vilnius Pedagogical University as an assistant at Faculty of the Russian Language and Literature in 1986. In 2003 she defended her PhD thesis on historical grammar and was awarded PhD in the humanities, linguistics. Since 2003 S. Vlasova has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Russian Linguistics, Slavonic Faculty of Vilnius Pedagogical University. She worked as Assoc. Prof. at the Department of Russian Philology and Didactics of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (LEU) in 2003–2018. Since 2018 dr. Svetlana Vlasova works as Assoc. Professor at Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University. Research areas: history of Russian language, Church Slavonic language, the relationship of the Balto-Slavic languages, comparative grammar of Russian and Lithuanian languages.
