Augustinas Dainys was born 1972 in Vilnius. He finished 22nd Secondary school in Vilnius and studied of Philosophy at Vilnius University. In 2008 he got his Doctor’s degree. He is associate professor and gives lectures on theoretical philosophy and philosophy of education at Vytautas Magnus University. A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2015. He listerned the lectures of prof. Arvydas Šliogeris. In today Lithuania Augustinas Dainys is the main continuator, critic and transformator of work of Arvydas Šliogeris. The thinking of Augustinas Dainys is called radical realism, which is part of wider new realism movement, which takes part in contemporary Europe and Americas. Also Augustinas Dainys elaborates project of education as the first philosophy, and is the direct heir 20th centuries philosophy’s of language, which meaning of language understood as the use of words. Augustinas Dainys further develops this approach and says that practices of use of languages keeps stability by different learning practices.
